Holidays. . . they aren't worth it!
Easter is next weekend. My parents will be in France, so we arranged a week or two ago to drop off their eggs a week in advance - i.e. Sunday. So We drove over there, a half-hour journey, only to realize just as we pull up that we actually utterly forgot to bring the eggs with us.
So I spent another hour in the car to go home, grab the eggs & a surprise (Some overly-large donuts sold in the market with the excellent name of "jam gutbusters") and get back again. Should have been just in time to meet the dog my parents are planning on adopting, but she was running hours late too, so that was OK.
She was essentially a small & very pretty doberman. No idea what her exact ancestry is. . .
This week, we're hideously overloaded with work because we have to get ahead of the 4-day weekend. Not fun. Hence I've been busy & tired & not very literate.
But I *have* made some progress on the new article. If you want to see the first part of the first draft of the new edition, a sneak preview may be had HERE - feedback always welcome, of course.
Saw Ice Age 2 last night. Was a definite "sequel" - never would have made it as a standalone, and not as good as the original. But it was funny & worth the price of the cinema tickets. And I don't even object to the "Watching pirate DVDs of films on your TV with silhouettes of people going to the bathroom is not as good as watching it at the cinema" - because they don't accuse you of actually doing so & they're absolutely true.
And that's pretty much everything for the moment. . .

Genesis 19 is a fun little tale, full of reversals and surprises. It begins with two angels going to visit Lot in Sodom. Lot welcomes them in and offers a good foot washing and feeding session. As is polite and in custom with receiving visitors. Especially angels. Shortly after they arrive, the local men turn [...]

And I'm not really sure where this question came from except that this photo has the words "Mother Nature" in it and that made me start singing "Mother Nature's Son" and then I just couldn't stop singing it so I thought maybe if I asked you what your favourite Beatles' song is I'd stop singing that song and start singing a new one and that could be fun.So, let me ask you. Because I love the

This was possibly the most ridiculous show I have seen in a long time and I can get Sky 1 I know ridiculous. It could be summed up in three sentences Do you know what's in your cereal? Want to? Read the label. Instead it went on for a hour about how evil the cereal [...]
