This evening, it was raining and a tad chilly. Not ideal weather for many things, but pretty good for jogging - I usually go round the local park twice. Today, I felt so unfatigued at the end of the second lap, I carried on and did a third, just for the Hell of it.
I might have done a fourth, but I was getting bored by then :o) I may have to look into an MP3 player after all...
Came back and tried out a new LiveCD, hot off BitTorrent. New to me, that is - it's been out a while. It's kororaa version two. If you've not tried it yet, I thoroughly recommend you do so ASAP.
The most noticeable differences between 0.2 and 0.1 are the hard-disk installation option, and the KDE option.
If the first version was impressive, the second is amazing. Even playing 3D-accelerated games (Okay, so it was only Tux Racer) caused not the slightest struggle from the 3D desktop. The Alt-Tab function in particular makes good use of the 3D power, offering small live views of all windows - even the DVD-playing movie player - and rendering all other windows transparent so the currently-selected full-size window is more visible.
It's an impressive bit of kit, it's just a shame it won't boot off a USB CD - I'd love to try it on my laptop. I will very likely be trying the hard-disk installation soon - but I'm waiting on another installation CD before I start any playing around of that sort. . .

Genesis 19 is a fun little tale, full of reversals and surprises. It begins with two angels going to visit Lot in Sodom. Lot welcomes them in and offers a good foot washing and feeding session. As is polite and in custom with receiving visitors. Especially angels. Shortly after they arrive, the local men turn [...]

And I'm not really sure where this question came from except that this photo has the words "Mother Nature" in it and that made me start singing "Mother Nature's Son" and then I just couldn't stop singing it so I thought maybe if I asked you what your favourite Beatles' song is I'd stop singing that song and start singing a new one and that could be fun.So, let me ask you. Because I love the

This was possibly the most ridiculous show I have seen in a long time and I can get Sky 1 I know ridiculous. It could be summed up in three sentences Do you know what's in your cereal? Want to? Read the label. Instead it went on for a hour about how evil the cereal [...]
