Or does "silicon laser modulator" sound like something Marvin the Martian would use to blow up the Earth because it obstructs his view of the planet Venus?

aahh... Daniweb, one of the first forums I've ever registered on the net (I think second to LQ.org). I really haven't posted much on that website though - I've been there very rarely of late... It's a nice enough community, but I simply didn't stick around for long.
