I'll be working. Deadlines do not care about VD (whichever the meaning of the acronym) and I've had a bunch of pretty daisies and china asters yesterday.
(And one of these damn mass-product sentiments written by someone else, with the addition of "tender kisses" at the bottom. Cultural differences...)
This February 15th, I will be reminding people that calling people who subscribe to a different yet more popular opinion than you "sheep" or "sheeple" makes you sound like a serious douchebag. I'm still not sure if you were being ironic when you said that people who didn't change lanes in traffic often enough were "brainwashed sheeple". Please tell me you were being ironic.
Andrew > How interesting that the dictionary (http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/sheep) offers "conformist" as one of the synonyms for "sheep" and that you are talking about "more popular" points of view.
(Hmm, OK, I'll tiptoe out of here and go to bed. Without my boyfriend, whom I haven't seen *gasp* at all this evening. But cherishing his daily tenderness more than the flowers he gave me yesterday, however pretty they look.)
Andrew, it's just one of the cards from the "Anti-VD" website it links to, that happened to make me laugh. Don't take these things so seriously.
I've no idea where you read a post calling people "brainwashed", but it wasn't here. There's a post about "sheeple" never changing lane, way back in September, but that's all I can find.
Ginny, not sure if you were referring to me or not.
Unfortunately I don't have a girl friend; but I am
"in the market" :) For now it's just me and the dog.
