Some handy software for IE
Yes, I know. IE sucks. I agree.
But as somebody who's had to design web pages that'll WORK for IE, I found these two things useful:
Firstly, the best piece of software I've yet found to emulate multiple old versions of IE, so you can see and work around all the standards-compliance issues: IETester
Secondly, a helpful bit of code that makes PNGs work properly on IE6. Mostly, anyway: IE PNG Fix
Until IE6 finally has the decency to wither and die, these are two tools that can make it slightly less painful to deal with..

Two other vital browser testers are: http://browsershots.org/ and http://ipinfo.info/netrenderer/index.php (which I prefer over Browsershots as it's faster and doesn't have a limit)
