So there I was, alt-f4'ing to close windows. And nothing happened.
A mild annoyance, but not too bad.
Then F5 failed to reload pages. This was infuriating. I'm stuck with an MS Natural keyboard (hate these things) so I went looking for how it had been mis-configured.
Only to find it HADN'T been.. WHO decided it was a good idea for a keyboard to have an F LOCK??? And WHO then decided it should be OFF by default?????
Morons.
So I turned on the F-keys and all was well.
Until I wanted to use Firebug, hit F12, and got the right-click menu instead.
Somebody.. PLEASE tell me that mouseemu was installed on my machine by somebody else. Tell me that Ubuntu haven't deliberately sabotaged the use of the F12 key for every user they have by installing mouseemu by default & setting it to assign F12 to act like a mouse click.
Tell me they're not THAT fecking stupid.. Please?

Hmm.. new look for twitter? I hope it gets less "Ick! Change! Put it back!" nonsense than Facebook..
