Friday was a long day. The complexities of SVN didn't help - I really look forward to moving over to Git sometime soon(ish) - and neither did the finnicky nature of bash shell scripts.
But 'twas all done in the end, and I headed homewards with a sense of relief. Of course, I stopped off at the gym on the way home as usual, but it was another session heavy on stretches and not on activity. Plus the steam room was turned up really high.
I like steam rooms.
Got back into the car to drive back, Tina points out that we have no food left. I think about it, and agree - I can't think of anything we have available. But I can't be bothered to drive to the shops. So we just come home.
We couldn't have takeaway - we'd already had one this week. I was too tired to want to go out anywhere. I didn't want to go shopping. I made the executive decision to scavenge - there must be enough scraps of food to keep body & soul together for one evening..?
So we checked. There was some chicken. And a bit of gammon. And some sausages. And some bacon. And some rolls. And some garlic bread. And the garden is producing quite a lot of edible leaves right now...
So we sat down and ate a quite comprehensive mixed grill with a freshly-picked salad, and pretty much ate ourselves stuffed. It was probably the largest, and certainly the healthiest, meal we'd had all week.
Clearly, we have to work on our definition of "We're out of food"...

Hmm.. new look for twitter? I hope it gets less "Ick! Change! Put it back!" nonsense than Facebook..
