A small bomb was dropped on the house I'm living in this weekend. Nothing else can explain the devastation, the mud, the chaos, and the.. water bowl..?
Hang on a minute...
That's not a planet bomb, it's a space-station puppy!!
Yes, Tina decided that the house was too tidy and easy to keep clean & organised, and has imported a small fuzzy destroyer of worlds.
Half-collie; half-husky; all small-and-fuzzy!

Her name is Cally, she's an eight week old puppy from a farm near Caterham. A cross between a border collie (a highly intelligent, very energetic breed) and a husky (a highly intelligent, very energetic breed), she's already demonstrated a lot of energy, a highly inquiring mind, and a startling level of intelligence. I don't think any other dog I've ever encountered would have worked out a way of getting up onto the garden bench by going off to the side, onto the flowerpot, into the big lettuce-growing tub, and through the armrest to the bench cushion in so quick a time...
And she's ever so cute & fuzzy :o)

I'm in the Perl newsletter again. I should try and write about some other language...
