Seriously.

I was unable to book onto my gym class this week: It was already fully booked. When I just went to the gym instead, it was packed absolutely solid instead of the usual half-dozen people you'd expect.

Why is this? Resolved to go to the gym more often did we, people?

Traffic has been jammed absolutely solid every morning this week for no apparent reason, but getting a little better each day. Only reason I can think of this is happening? People are resolving to try and get to work on time, so instead of being a bit more spaced out, the morning traffic is all hitting the roads at the same time. Result? We're *all* late.

So it's a new year. So what?

Unless you've got a history of actually sticking to your resolutions, making a couple of weeks of effort at the start of the year just means you join all the other sheep in trying to be virtuous until you stop bothering and get back out of the way of the people who do this stuff all the year round.

And then they start writing really long sentences at you.
