Your original article pointed out "why we don't care" in fashion foundet on logic. But that's not how people writing hate mail tick. Hate mail is emotional, and people who write it consider emotion is of the same quality (in its deepest sense) as logic.

So there's no point in editing your article to make that people understand better, as that's not the problem.
